I won't choose sides, even though I'm a 'bleeding heart liberal', I'm still more educated than these morons. Normally I try my best not to get political, or even discuss the depressing state of affairs as idiot after idiot take their issues out on the rest of the world, especially in the last two weeks, but this shyt right here?? I just want to slap his smug, asshole face. What kind of a f**ktard says bullshyt like this???

Yes you read & heard that right. According to this uneducated no medical degree having asshole, women's bodies will protect them from getting pregnant after a " legitimate " rape. WAIT. WTF is "legitimate rape" is it being raped by a stranger, rape while your drugged, or is it your partner not stopping when you say no?? Does it only happen to good virgin girls?? Or are experienced women raped too?? WTF is it?? I didn't know we established degrees of rape and what makes it "real".  Is it real only when it happens in certain situations or is it only if the guy feels bad about it. Who makes the decision?? Cops, judges or the person that was RAPED. What about the young woman who was asleep on her boat and was raped?? Is that legitimate?? Does it only happen to young women?? Or are older women exempt. Please Mr, Aiken I need your vast experience and knowledge to explain to me what the f**k legitimate rape is. Excuse me will I throw things. These are the idiots making decisions on women's bodies and our rights???? This idiot who hasn't gotten past first grade understanding of human anatomy and biological science??? Really these are the people educated people are electing into office. You know what??? I'm tired of this idiocy America calls a government system, this two party foolishness that allows these uneducated idiots to decide one day they want to run for office and then stay in office forever. This is just complete and utter tomfoolery. People like this really can't exist, I refuse to believe that actual adults can believe this bullshyt, and have the nerve to share it with the rest of the world. Who told him that woman's bodies will protect them??? His priest?????  I need the names of those doctors he is talking about so I can check to make sure they actually attended medical school. I need their names Mr. Aiken, so we can ban them from going anywhere near women, or even attempting to actually practice medicine because clearly they bought their  license to practice. This is what happens when we allow complete and utter bullshyt called myths and legends to be taught as part of the school system. Creationism isn't science people it's your myths and your beliefs about how the world was created it doesn't f**king make it PROOF. I'm all for faith and having a system of beliefs that can't stand up to science, I'm a psychic; that can't be proven with scientific methods *not yet anyway*. but I would NEVER demand that my set of beliefs be taught in a schools SCIENCE lab, this is why. You teach these things and not the real hard proof of science; you deny children access to information about sex and their bodies and then show them this bullshyt; and then act surprised when idiots like this happen:

I need for real people to vote this f**ktard out, he shouldn't be allowed to breathe and talk in public much less vote *why yes I see the irony as I type but it's true*  yet he is allowed to make rules and regulations pertaining to women's bodies. I need for American women to wake up and demand that the people making decisions that affect us have at least a medical background before they can talk about anything pertaining to our reproductive rights, because an asshole with convictions shouldn't be telling me I'm protected from an unwanted pregnancy biological and therefore won't need access to planned parenthood. In My Opinion:

I give No F**ks about the drama going on this week. Yes it's harsh and kinda rude but this is my blog, my space to say what I want. Personally I just don't care enough to get this worked up over something that to me seems trivial. Here is what I care about this week: my next door neighbour, whose boyfriend decided her face looked like a good place to park his fist, several times over. That is important, this big hoopla?? Not important at least not to me because I really wasn't involved at all.

Yes I get it; it's wrong, yes she did it and she will deal with the fall out of her stupidity, error, mistake, accident whatever the heck you want to call it. Personally, I feel bad for the women who were the original victims of the plagiarism, but as for the others who felt they needed to out Kristi and cause this big fiasco?? There is a special name for y'all and it's called instigators. In the end the instigators allways cause more trouble than the initial problem was truly worth.  If the victims made an agreement with Kristi and they decided not to out her, why all these months later did you feel the need to run in and scream bloody murder??

And for those who have spent their days talking about how they always hated her anyway because she is (insert whatever here) and then have the nerve to say that she's  the one making the blogging world look bad?? Not your behaviour; not the things that you are saying on either side of the issue, the ones going after GG & the other victims, or the ones attempting to tear Kristi down. How about ALL of this is a cluster f**k and you all look petty as shyt?? How about that??

If you don't like her actions and you have made your decision not to follow her COOL do you. As for those who came crawling out the woodwork showing your complete and whole asses and make extra fools of yourselves?? Y'all can crawl back into the holes you came out of & go kick rocks in flip flops,

Here's how I truly feel, IMM is a way for me to meet new bloggers, Heck almost all my new book blogs that I follow are a result of IMM, I just started it in the last few months and I like the blogs I have found because of it. I love that my Lust lists have grown due to the books I have found on other people's blogs.  But you know what I'm not a follower either, so yeah maybe I was never a avid follower of Kristi's blog; but I love the IMM idea and will continue to do it, because I LIKE it. Since I never really went on there for anything else but the Sunday post, that's what I will keep doing. I'm not going to stop doing it because other people think we should do so.

It's 2012 and the same old shyt just a different year...

Yesterday Mrs. B posted a link to a website (which I will not be linking to, no need to give the site unnecessary traffic) that had pirated books on their pages.  I'm a ebook fanatic, but come on, ebooks are way cheaper than the actual book, why steal it when you can pay a discounted price on Barnes and Noble or Amazon? They eventually took it down; after they had been contacted by several of the authors who wrote about it on Mrs.B's page, as well as someone from Llewellyn. I know I know so many people have issues with some of their books, but consider that for many many years they were the only ones publishing ANY books, other than authors or obscure hard to find college publishing companies, without Llewellyn, many of the companies that have come along wouldn't be there, and MANY of the authors who are out NOW wouldn't have had any books to read that sparked their interest which made them eventually write their own, so hate all you want, but they are necessary.

In response, Mrs. B formed an awesome group idea, you can find out more about it here. It has always been my policy of purchase two books and donate one tot he library, but I noticed that those books disappear fairly quickly, which goes back to people stealing because they don't want others to learn about the stuff, or people hanging on to it because they can't afford to purchase their own and want this copy. But I like Mrs. B's idea.

This week I personally was faced with the over sharing that takes place on the Internet; when I watched a video by a young woman who had pledged to my sorority then 'found God' (nothing wrong with that, grow, change embrace your faith), and made it her decision to SHARE all of our initiation rituals, pledging secrets and things only sorors should know on the fracking internet, because to her our organisation encouraged "pagan and idol worship because some our symbols are from the Greek mythology", O_o it's a GREEK sorority, of course we are going to have something Greek on our shield. She kept excusing her behaviour by saying she only owes God her word and not man, UMMM excuse me much, but these videos have shown your character, if you ever interview to work anywhere sensitive information your not getting that job. Why?? You don't know how to keep your mouth shut. You put your real name out there with these videos, you showed who you really are and you must deal with repercussions of this. Okay, you have decided you no longer agree with our policies and our traditions, turn in you pledge pin and go sit in a corner, no one needs to hear from you, there is no need to share all our information with those who haven't BUSTED THEIR ASSES TO EARN THE RIGHT TO KNOW!!! Pledging to any Greek Letter Organisation is a Privilege not a right!! As I watched the video I realised also she kept repeating that she owed no one anything, as if attempting to not just convince us, but herself, I could feel the disquiet that her actions caused her but she did them anyway, WHY? so you can say you  got back at the women you didn't get along with???  It's one thing if your faith has changed and you feel the need to speak up about something criminal or drastically wrong, but there are ways to do things that didn't include giving our information away. I just don't get it, You know what?? Whatever!!!

This incident was exasperated when out of curiosity I googled our ritual book and someone had posted the WHOLE fracking book online I mean really?? Do people not know what discretion is? Do people not understand that you have to earn the right to know our business? * Walking away before my blood pressure goes up*

This morning my sister went to our car which we parked only a few cars down from our normal spot and there was a hanger stuck inside the door, some Crackheaded fiend ( don't really know if they were on crack or not, but only a goddamn thief would pick my car, it's not the oldest car, nor is it the nicest, not sure why they choose my car) was attempting to steal our car, i was never so happy to have an old Toyota than I was at that moment because they couldn't use the hanger to pull up the lock, so they abandoned the project. Le Huge Sigh. I live next to Yale University, arguably one of the best colleges in the United States if not the World, I live on a quite street of older well maintained homes with lots of families and our condo building, it's not the 'ghetto' or even close, yet this came to our "nice" neighbourhood.  I don't know why I am surprised they opened a Apple store a few weeks ago, only two blocks away from me, and right next to the Yale Bookstore, and on it's first night they were robbed. I mean really?? And then people wonder why they can't have nice things? It's because of bullshyt moves like this.

The one highlight of my week? This is my YT buddy Fran, she makes awesome Loc videos, she also makes awesome, hilarious, poignant & socially relevant videos, this one?? Hits the nail on the head, and has blown up all over the place. I love it!!!

Dear TMobile 2: Actual letter sent to customer Relations

To Whom it may concern

I called you customer service on Thursday April 28^th, 2011, as a customer whom had an issue with the T-Mobile Dash 3G.  Last week, April 20, 2011, I spent four (4) frustrating hours on the phone attempting to get my phone replaced by anything else but the Dash, at which point I was told I would not be able to do that, unless I wished to do an early upgrade and pay for this. To which I stated NO, since this was a technical issue not an issue of normal wear and tear, or even my incompetence. I was transferred to SEVEN (7) different people, all of whom kept repeating the same line, there was nothing to do.

 I accepted the phone, and received my phone in the mail. The same day I received the phone it presented an error message which stated “ Cannot execute HTCActivityLog.EXE.exe” do I wish to send, I sent all Three (3) messages, to which it repeated the error message for “WmpPlayer.exe” and Windows media player would freeze.

 I called customer service to report this and the gentleman on the phone told me to reset the phone after he updated the web information and that the phone should work fine, if in 72 hours I had an issue I should go to the store. I did. And she told me to call customer service. As I had only received this phone four (4) days ago I was very angry that I was calling back with the same issues.

 I first went into the T-mobile store in Mall in an attempt to have it fixed just in case I was doing something wrong, while there the lovely young lady reset the phone letting me know that I would lose the information on the phone and they would be able to get it all back. She also checked to make sure the phone software was up to date. As this was taking place, after the hard reset the phone froze while she was attempting to fix it after the reboot. At this time she told me that she was going to note the account, and that I should call customer service and they should (as per company policy) replace the phone with an offer of equal or lesser value.

I called you customer service line where I was forced to explain the situation to each person I spoke who would transfer me again and again to someone new. Finally I told the young lady I was speaking to, to get the supervisor, as I’m sure he could fix this issue. The manager who came on the phone stated his name was Mark, I let him know that I was not satisfied with the options being offered of taking back a refurbished (read “fixed” broken phone) and that I wanted my phone replaced, and I was not going to pay for it, as I had paid for this phone and it has given me nothing but trouble for the last few months.

He told me that I was calling and asking him to “jump off of a cliff” (His exact words) and just because he was supervisor did not mean he was going to do what I needed him to do; which is hold up the end of the bargain struck with T-mobile that as along as I pay my phone bill, if there are issues, T-Mobile would fix them. 

            When I snapped that he was being very irrational and that this was NOT good customer service, as I myself worked in the customer service field and he was NOT doing a good job of keeping this customer happy. I told him also if I was not satisfied I would return my equipment and cancel my service. I then told him if I had anymore issues I was not dealing with customer service I would talk to the people in store who would then have to talk to him because this made no sense, that I had to keep getting the same phone and he was in charge of fixing that but he wasn’t going to.

            I stated he should send the refurbished phone and anymore issues would have to be fixed immediately and I was not going to keep doing this, as I had already wasted enough time getting my phone fixed. I also let him know that his customer service skills were abysmal at best, and that I now knew why the company was doing so poorly if this is how they treat customers. I also demanded his customer number which he stated was 42029, then I asked for the number of the order Mark gave me the number, and told me to hang up, as I was on someone else’s phone and didn’t know how it worked I told him I was attempting to do so. Mark the Supervisor stated “Even hanging up is an issue for you, uhh” then hung up the phone.

I proceeded to call back customer service and spoke to Amy (probably the only other person i have spoken to who is a GOOD customer service rep) at badge number 103764 who after searching the notes stated that this badge number was actually false, the badge number listed last was actually 126950, and that is the number of the person who processed the refurbished order. Your MANAGER, who is in charge of the service representatives, not only had a nasty attitude, he also LIED to a customer.

To say I am beyond fed up with the atrocious standards of customer satisfaction you are dealing is an understatement. If this is how loyal customers are treated, I hate to see how you treat the others. I left another company and have been T-Mobile customer for almost fifteen (15) years, under numerous numbers as I have moved and changed numbers, and I am treated disrespectfully by your customer representatives.

I wish to let you know that once my contract is up I will be seeking service elsewhere as, I will not be spoken to or treated this way by people I am paying. I will also be sharing this story with ALL my family members who I foolishly convinced to come over to you once their contract was up with your competition.

What the Hell is the World Coming to??? Rant

****Advance Warning: Although I usually attempt to make my point without cursing, today?? I'm too pissed to take that into account, so Sorry for the cursing if you don't like that kind of thing otherwise Read On*

Recently here in Connecticut the news channels brought us the story of a homeless woman who was facing up to 20 years in jail and $15,000 in fines. Want to know her crime???  Did she sell drugs?? Was she a prostitute?? No ladies and gents She had the audacity to send her child to school. Yes ladies and gents you read that right as a HOMELESS woman she had no formal address, so she used the address of the babysitter, whom takes care of her child. Again let me repeat in case you haven't heard this part she's HOMELESS, and she is facing up to 20 years in JAIL because her last known address was in Bridgeport and the school was in Norwalk.

Are you f**king kidding me??? Is this what we have come to ?? Sending a woman to jail because she used someone's address?? It's not like she lived in Bridgeport, she lives the hell out of her car, and her child is SIX (6), where in the world is education for FOUR count them four months worth $15,000, in a PUBLIC school??????  If the school's education is worth that much, why shouldn't she send her child there when the Bridgeport school system is shot to hell and back?? Magnet schools don't even admit kids anymore, and charter schools are full. Where is the common sense the Gods gave these prosecutors, to say OK, maybe 20 years is extreme. If that's the case I'm calling Trumbull town to let them know my neighbors sent all 3 of their kids to Trumbull high and we are zoned as Fairfield/Easton (upper class neighborhoods, and YET Trumbull school system is considered WAY better).
I know I know it's wrong to lie about your permanent address, so maybe she should have listed the street she parked her car on. Maybe then she would have qualified. Oh what's that we know she used the Norwalk shelters, but she never signed a piece of paper saying she was staying here, so she doesn't qualify. WTF???

She's attempting to sue since this is a form of discrimination, meanwhile the town is attempting to settle that quietly. Her criminal charges came back yesterday, saying yes to 20 years. Hopefully some Judge with common sense will look at it and tell the prosecutor to sit the hell down and give her community service or something TWENTY years??? As a homeless woman??

Then what happens to the child? He becomes a ward of the state and then you'll really have to pay out money to take care of him. Considering how overwhelmed our state and federal children's "help" system is, do we really need to unnecessarily throw children in there?? Yes there are good foster mothers and fathers, unfortunately there are more people in it for the money than to really take care of kids. And let's not even discuss how much more black and latino kids age out of the foster system than get adopted. He's six (6) years old, this is going to scare him, every time he thinks of school he's going to remember this. Is this the kind of system we want to set up?? Where our kids don't go to school. I mean our schools are f**ked up beyond repair, with overburdened classrooms, teachers who are overwhelmed with extreme expectations and NO HELP WHAT-SO-EVER. Personally I think we need to scrap the current system and start the hell over, but seriously, why are we turning kids away from school so early???

 I can't stand when people act stupid, yes she should have registered at the shelters in Norwalk, the most they should have done was put the kid out, but to attempt to recruit $15,000 from a woman who clearly doesn't have that kind of money, and then send her to jail, smacks of attempting to make an example of her, and just carries a weft of racism.

The Norwalk Schools received federal funds based on her sons registration & daily attendance. Unless they plan to prorate & return the unused portion of those federal funds back to the federal government, they are now involved in fraud & misappropriation of federal dollars and libel for criminal prosecution on the federal level. Turn the tables back on them press for prosecution.

There is nothing Worse

to a chronic disease sufferer than to be told that if they simply "Believe" that they will be "cured". You wouldn't tell a blind man to "try" harder and he will see, or an amputee that their limb will be restored if they had enough "faith".

It's insulting, it discounts the pain the person lives with, their panic whenever some new twidge appears as they worry about what else in their body is now broken; or how far their disease has advanced now. You don't see their fear that today may be the day they become one of the many who are paralyzed due to an embolism no one knew was there or that they will become one of the many young women who are dead at 28 due to a heart attack or renal failure (kidney).

These platitudes only show your complete ignorance and your abject willingness to ignore the obvious as well as you complete lack of understanding of both the disease and the person's pain.  They make YOU feel better but they only add more guilt and pain to the sufferer because now they know if they need a helping hand your just another of those they can't count on.

The patient already has enough on their plates without knowing that they have even fewer people to rely on. Ignoring the disease because it makes you uncomfortable, only makes the patient feel more isolated than they already do.  And it adds to their stress, if you can't be relied on NOW in the early stages of this disease, where will the patient be when they have suffered from a stroke, a heart attack, pulmonary effusions (fluid in the lining of the lungs) pericarditis (inflammation around the heart), liver failure, renal (kidney) failure, brain adhesions (leading to long and short term memory loss),  or loss of vision, and eventually being told by their doctor that their meds aren't  working anymore?

Keep your platitudes, I only deal in the facts, and the truth. There is NO CURE there is only meds and maybe REMISSION (a small break from the disease) don't insult my intelligence or discount my pain to make yourself feel better.  They can't find a cure when they have no ideas what causes the disease.

Ask questions, get over YOUR fear, because this disease isn't about YOU!!!! You only see it from the outside looking in, imagine being the person who has to live with the disease and their fear. Believe this it could be a whole lot worse.

If your going to stay at home

do something to show for it. Now i understand you have a new addition to your family and a new child in an established family always takes getting used to. But this is disgusting.

I'm a germaphobe.   I will freely admit to that & there are few places I will eat out, and even fewer friends i will eat from. So color me surprised when a really put together friend of mine invited me to spend the weekend at the families summer home.

Yes Yes I understand that its summer and people have more important things to do than clean, but if your having friends over Shouldn't you at least pretend to clean??
My mom has what she calls "company clean" its the cleaning you do when your going to have company over, you know to make sure everything visible is neat and organized, you shut the doors on bedrooms not cleaned before company arrives and no one will ever know about those messes. Now my mom would make Johnson &Johnson proud, she uses bleach like its water, she uses Comet/Ajax regularly so doing "company clean" usually for her means putting away the shoes that have collected at the most used doors (garage, front and back doors); and maybe fluffing up some pillows, Her house stays "company clean" and with a family like ours it has to.
Growing up my home was the neighborhood club house, everyone came over and usually unannounced, different cousins would drop by and have their friends with them and my sisters friends were over so often they knew where all the dishes were!!
A clean house is a necessity.

Back to our story:  I love water, i mean really love drinking water and i love Brita water filters, (this will make sense in a  moment), its the second night here and its a little after midnight i get thirsty and go get some water, the pitcher is empty its a huge Brita family pitcher and I "being a good friend" decide to fill it up, flip the light switch cause now i need to see what I am doing not just pouring water anymore.... (the pitcher she has)

Imagine walking into a room that's covered in grime and slime, you wouldn't expect to find anything clean there right??? Now imagine my horror when i pulled of the cap and discovered the mess waiting for me.

There was mold, i mean serious deep green mold, mold that comes around when something hasn't been cleaned in months years even, the filter was covered i mean covered in mold and the black sand from inside had migrated into the holding chamber. (picture below of filters looking nice and clean)

I wanted to throw-up. I have been there for two days now drinking eight glasses of water everyday, using ice from her fridge, eating meals from her fridge and she has MOLD!! You what the sad part is her fridge is white the water pitcher is white the outside looks clean its the inside of the chamber that's a mess, which begs me to wonder when was the last time she changed the filter?!?!?!? Because this is gross

 Trying not to gag i grab the gloves and dish washing liquid hit the hot water tap to scalding and went to work.  The part that is horrifying is that children have been drinking from this. Yes dear readers including a baby who bottle feeds. Tyring not to imagine that this is now in my system i go to put the pitcher away when i notice something black on the dish drainer, the container that holds my plates from dinner, when the lip of my cup sits, when the point of the knife i used to cut the steak is resting ..... you guessed it more mold not green this time, this mold is the worst kind its black, it covers the entire bottom draining board; the cup where the silverware is wallowing in it, the spouts for the cups also have some and i have to wonder how the fudge can people live this way???? How did i not know you were nasty??? I'm never ever eating from you again. If i get sick from this I'm dropping you as a friend this is gross, i can ignore the fact that there are no organization in your home, i can pretend not to notice that Toys R Us threw up in your house, that your children knows nothing about picking up after themselves but can tell me how to beat the next mission in call of duty 4, but this this is what really changes a friendship.


I know i know your a new (again, you would think after a few she would have some experience) mom and you have more important things to worry about, well think on this, a clean home is a healthy home, which is a HAPPY home. Cause if its not clean, it becomes as we have already seen a place for mold to grow, and if you don't sweep the dining room soon it will be a haven for rodents, and the no-existent trash bins (garbage hanging from a door handle in the kitchen is sooooooo over ) go to the dollar store and buy some they cost $1.00 you have the money for gameboy games you have the money for trash bins.  When it becomes unhealthy your family becomes unhealthy then the bills pile in and YOU become unhappy. 


Goddess only knows what else is hiding in that place!! I'm glad i had to leave.  The sad part is readers, she's a stay at home mom!!! what the heck are doing with your days??? the baby sleeps for hours on end, what are you doing??? You have a daughter if you don't teach her who will?? And you son is going to think its ok to do this with his future wife, you need To. Do. Better. Set a good example.

 Is she acting out?? Is that it?? I know she dealt with depression before but this is crazy!! There is not being motivated and then there is just plain lazy. I'll tell you readers, she goes out three to four times a week, she needs to stay home and really clean that place, not just "company clean".
what say you readers, am I being too harsh? I understand she has a new child but what the hell is her husband doing then? Cause he's just as culpable, i know I'm not the only person to have lifted the container top to fill it.
