Are you prepared? Do you have your zombie plans?
It's funny I have been watching this show since it started on Samhain and boy this show doesn't disappoint. AMC has here in their hands a hands down seriously wicked show. It's thought provoking and makes you wonder what does it take to survive if something like this did happen. How would we determine who rules? What rules are left after the complete breakdown of society?
Each week they present some damn good cliffhangers that make you wonder about what's coming next. And the teasers? Just to die for (lol) The way the show started you got hooked from jump, I can't imagine waking up in a hospital not knowing what has happened to the world, hell he's lucky he even woke up.
Ever since this show, my sisters and I, have been talking about it (which seems to be the new thing among this generation), we noted the reason zombies have become the next big thing is because almost all the other scary monsters now have sexy hot faces, Don't believe me :

While I normally don't cherish horror movies, I do understand the zombie phenomenon. I have to admit that I have had a zombie plan for years. The plan is constantly evolving and becoming more and more intricate with subtle layers and multiple contingencies, but hey, one has to be prepared!

@ Faerie Sage girlie you and me both, i think i had a zombie plan when i snuck and watched the movie night of the living dead when my parents weren't home (as a little girl the original movie), mine is ever evolving as i add new skills to aide in surviving if the world ever goes to hell in a handbasket. I have been meaning to read the book "Zombie survival guide" my sister loves that book. Maybe that will help with adding even more layers??

Well, I guess I will have to look this show up and watch it. Sounds interesting. I think it might be a good idea to have a zombie plan of survival too. Another thing I should look into. I usually plan for things like power outages, icy weather, total economic breakdown, that sort of thing. Nothing as drastic as a zombie outbreak! :)

ReplyDelete@Wendy isn't he just smoking?? If you go back thru the paranormal telly reviews there is Henry from Blood Ties and who can forget Louie, or Lestat from Interview with a Vam, and even though he dies Antonio bandares' vamp was sexy too.
