It;s a day to recognize each person's story and talk about the Lgbt issues. By talking about each person's story, it aides the younger generation in learning that they can make it and be successful. For those that are from New England today in my state they had a walk for the Lgbt community and to raise awareness about the recent suicides due to bulling.
